Thought it would be fun to select a few of my corals and document the progress. These are all very easy corals so I am sure it you old hands wont be overly impressed but for those of you who are new to all this (like me) you can see how some easy stuff can be a lot of fun.
First up is one of my favorites that was given to me by wmboots. This Blue Tip Stag Horn has been fragged many times, the entire colony has been cut off at the base and moved several times. Each time, the it starts growing again in the old spot.
The before pic was 12-30-11 and the after pic was 10-16-12
Next up is a Green Candy Cane. Again the before pic was 12-30-11 and the after can be seen in the same pic as the stag horn. They are not open as much as normal in the after pic but you get the idea.
Next item, Duncans. Before pic is 12-30-11 and after is 10-16-12
The green birdsnest has been a joy to watch. I love these things. Again 12-30-11 and 10-16-12 time frame.
Next up is my Hammer. Same dates as the others.
Edit:
Edit: OK, I guess I need to wait for someone to comment so I can then post a few more. hehehe There is one unknown coral that has amazed me with it's recovery and growth and I would love to know what it is.
