I was at the Natural History Museum in Washington DC a couple of weeks ago and saw in their reef tank a beautiful pink tabling acropora. I wanted to see if anybody knows what type of acropora it is. Also does anybody has a tabling colony like this one? Sorry, the pictures don’t make justice to the coral.

Hard to tell from the picture but looks similar to a red planet acro.

Ok, it looks pretty different to the red planet acro frag I have in my tank. I guess with time it turns in to more pink color. Also probably the museum lights are metal halides. Thanks for the info!

I was there last spring and its a beautiful tank. It's not a red planet... I wasn't sure what it was either but I'd buy it .
