Coral in a sump

I was watching this YouTuber and he had just gotten coral rock full of Aiptasia and put it into his sump with 2 peppermint shrimps. Is this a good/smart idea?

It would be a better idea to setup a small qt tank to put the peps and rocks in you could do an instant setup with water from the display and a small piece of live rock from the tank
