My tank is growing out of control. I have a xmas favia that i literally see growing everyday and it is starting to take over my spongodes. Whats the best way to remove part of this favia? Taking out the rock its on is not an option. Also, i have a large toadstool as well. Can i just trim the "rim" with a razor?

The toadstool: you can trim that with a razor

The favia will be a little more tricky. They usually need to be cut with a band saw or dremel.

Its enrusting over the sides of the frag plug already, however, the orage is not there as it was. I believe i need to move it directly under the leds as it is kind of half way down in the tank in the corner. The others i got from him, especially the mellow yellow tenius, are also encrusting and starting to color up a little better. The frags i got from you are encrusting as well. The tri color has browned out but that was expected.

Yeah, my orange isn't there yet either. Give the tricolor some time. That is one of the weirdest corals when it comes to coloring up. One strain I have took over a year to color up right.
