does any one know why my coralife 65 would just stop making bubbles? It will be working just fine and then i will look at it and there will be no bubbles, unplug it plug it back in and it works just fine again

Check page 9 in the manual...there are a few things to check.

If you don't have the manual, it's on this link

Ive heard of coralife ss doing this when the water level changes. try keeping the water at the same level and see if that fixes it.

Also, check your venturi for salt creep and calcium buildup. I had a problem with this with my old SS.

No bubbles means no air. My guess is either the venturi is partially clogged or the pump needs a good cleaning as it isn't pushing the water it should.

Check all the spots where the air line connects. The venturi and the silencer. There's not a spot on that skimmer I haven't had clog up. Just poke a toothpick or something on the like into those holes to clear them. If it's really tough buildup, soak the peices in viniger for a few hours and then try.

I broke the pump down and put it back together and it is working better then it was before the whole chamber is filled with bubbles now, before only half of it had bubbles. i guess that will have to become part of the scheduled cleaning. thanks for the help
