coralife UV twist question

I have a used coralife that the quartz sleeve and become disconnect. Anyone have a good way to re secure that to the plastic and make it water proof??

silicon, superglue, liquid nails..... Ok the last one was a joke.

I wouldnt mess with it - say you do get it to seal, what happens down the line when it loses the seal and you are away? not only will it blow your power out (if on GFIC) and render your tank vulnerable but could start a fire (if not on GFIC) not to mention the continous water pouring out of it cuz the pump will have no idea the unit failed....i have had a similar problem.

spend the money on replacing the sleeve - a couple used units for sale on here i think.
