Has anyone here had issues with using that coraline reef putty stuff in their tanks?

I’ve used it on and off over the years in different tanks and never had a problem. Used some today in my tank to try and help my sliding rock problem. Came home from the store, and my clowns along with my tail spot were all laying on the sand bed not moving, on their sides.

I got them and my corals in a bucket of new salt water, but anyone else have this problem? Package says it’s safe and non toxic, and I’ve never had this problem before.

When I used a full stick of the 2 part putty in my ~40 gallon system my skimmer overflowed for 24 hours. I never had issues with it hurting the fish.

I used about half a stick in my 25.

An hour later I came home to them dying. As of now my tail spot and one of my mocha clowns are hanging on… I lost my fav little stormy gal 😔

Start with a large water change and add some carbon.
