I know that coral's will attack each other if they begin to touch..but i have also seen pictures of corals basically stacked on top of each other. My concern is with my frogspawn and my candy cane are really close here is a picture from a few weeks ago right after I had my frogspawn about a week. Now my frogspawn has grown a lot to the point where it has almost completly spilt into two corals and it is about a mm from touching the candy cane. My tank has been doing really well I have coraline algae growing on the glass on the rocks and basically everywhere...so water conditions are really great and I don't see these corals stoping to grow anytime soon  . What should I do? Do I move my candy cane or leave them be? Can they live next to each other?
Thanks

I'ld move it, frongspawn is a pretty bad sting to other corals. Always better to be safe than sorry ;)

Candy Canes don't sting, however. I had them in with all kinds of stuff. My Toadstool actually grew into one and had to be extracted.

so the best bet is to move it then to another part of the tank...only problem is that the location was perfect and i glued it into the rock will it break of easily without hurting the coral?

you might have to touch the soft part of the coral a bit so it'll receed into the skeleton, then you should be able to wiggle it free, at least thats how I moved mine. Just remember that the sweeper tenticles on the frogspawn can reach upto 6" So a decent proximity should be set.

it should break off rather easily. just put pressure on the slkeleton, as glxtrx said.

The frogspawn will kill the candy..So move either one...looks like there is plenty of room in there.

Mine corals fight all the time....but I have no rom to go. So nature takes over and the strong survive. The weak perish..

yeah my tank has only been running for a bit over 4 months and I have been adding corals rather slowely so I should be able to find another spot. I just kinda like where it is now. Thanks for the advice guys.
