couple anemone questions

1. How often do i need to dose iodide? - I was dosing weekly per directions on bottle. But my inverts started to molt pre-maturely so i stopped.

2. I have a rose-tip, and sometimes i feed him and none of the other inverts. They get pretty uppity and try to steal the krill away from the anemone. I have to keep my hand in there to scare them off until the anemone has gotten the food in good. - Arent they supposed to be able to sting predators? I mean.. my cleaner shrimp/CB shrimp/sally lightfood will just hop right on/in and grab the food away. Whats the deal with that?

Test for iodide, don't just blindly dose it. Very few people actually need it. Too much can be problematic.

BTA don't pack as big of a sting as some other anemones. Offer the shrimp some food before you feed the anemone. If the anemone is hungry it will consume the food pretty quickly - if not, it wasn't that hungry.

In the ocean nobody runs interference so they can eat... except clowns if they're living in it. They'll usually feed it too.
