I see him sleeping like this all the time the first time I thought he was a goner .
I have had the pair since last years auction. .

He sleeps upside down ???

And I thought my snowflake was strange. It just lays on the bottom of te tank in the corner. Been doing that ever since I got it at the expo, I don't think twice about it anymore but I was worried at first as well. But he always gets back up and swims around the tank and acts normal of the hanging out on te sandbed for a little while

Edit: Atleast mine acts strangely right side up!

That is weird. Hope it's not a swimbladder issue

I still poke him a little and he swims off and I'm sure he pissed thinking how would like me to poke you when your sleeping : )

I did take the filter sock off for awhile . Until they were to big to slide through the slots in the return .
I did find one last year in the sock . He was lucky I found him pretty quick so he lived.

Lol I had an OC clown that did that for a long time it's very weird. Well that is until my cat realized he did that every night then he went missing :/ I guess that's the downside of have a predator 16lb Maine coon/Bengal mix.

Good to know my clowns weren't the only ones. They sleep in that exact spot also...

I found my perc's upside down and stuck to the overflow box. I thought they were both dead until I poked them. They are some weirdos!

Clowns are definitely named after their sleeping habits..mine won't leave the return on my bc29..
