critter id???

Friend or foe? I found this think going around the front of my tank and got him out and into a specimen cup. He has like a ton of tentacles and a long body...

When you say tentacles, do you mean like bristles or legs? I’m assuming the lights were dim or off?

Yes light were completely off . It was like a lot like maybe 80 legs like a bristle worm except smaller .

Sounds like a small bristle worm. I’d flush him, but I’m not fond of bristles.

Nope he doesn’t look like that . He has a work body and at the end all of the weird leg things

It’s really hard to tell from the pic what it could be. But, when it doubt, flush it to be on the safe side!

it looks like the second but the body is less dark

I hid it in my dads drawer so the dogs dont get it. I will flush it tomorow. My mom is super freaked out about it.
