I'm looking to upgrade the tank within the next few months and one tank size I'm really interested in is a weird one, 36"x24"x12". Deep blue offers one, but I don't believe it's either reef ready or rimless, both are pretty much necessities. Anyone happen to know of one mass produced, or if not im interested to hear about any positive experiences with local tank builders.

Thanks

If you're interested in acrylic, my friend who is a local builder, made me a 48 x 24 x 21 tank a few weeks ago. Being acrylic, it's not rimless but Eurobraced. Still has the rimless look to me. Best thing about it, it only took him a few weeks to make the tank, stand, and sump. While places online were quoting me 1-2 months just to get my tank. Whatcha think?

+1 with MRC, means quality. What I don't know if it's a glass tank what you looking for instead of acrylic or acrylic+pvc tank.
But they produce nice tanks with different materials

Sorry, I didn't said they do, what I was trying to say is if the op just want a glass tank and don't want an acrylic tank instead

I was just asking because I would have them do a quote if they did low iron glass. Thought they just did acrylic so I didn't contact them

I think they will do hybrid tanks.. which is glass sides and front with a plastic back and bottom.

they aren't cheap though :) glasscages isn't BAD. for the price they do really well. i've used them and was happy with the tank.

If you want a flawless show tank.. they may not be the company for you though

Didn't even know that was a thing. I could definitely use the reduced load over my garage. Thx

My current tank was obviously the first thing I bought on this go around and it was actually cheaper than one of my vortechs. So yeah, at this point, I'm pulling out all the stops. :)
Hoping reef savvy can give me a price I can live with. Love their tanks.

Reef Savvy's Felix and Kathy are phenomenal to deal with.
