I will be getting a innovated marine 40gal here soon and was wondering if It would be best just to cycle the take with uncured live rock, live sand.
I'm not sure on what filtration I should run during this process, I planned on just running the spong basket or filter socks in the back of the take along with filling the rest of the back with " highly pours stone balls " in the compartment with the pumps. any opinion on what I should get in regards to the amount of sand and live rock, and or cycling tips? Also should I do water changes during this process using the in cures live rock?

Welcome to ARC!
I did a little surfing and couldn't come up with anything better so I'm going to give you this link.

I have the 40 IM cube, love it.
You can use as much or as little rock as you like. I'd suggest getting a few larger & a few smaller pieces (25 pounds) you can always add more later. Shop around & decide what you like...
The thread above tells you about live vs dry rock, no water changes or filter media during cycle but it's all in the thread.
Get your test kits and most importantly be patient!
If something doesn't make sense in the thread please post question, someone will be happy to explain in more detail.

Just noticed you're pretty close to me, if you would like a handful of pest free live sand and a piece of live rock to start your cycle p.m. me and I'll send you my address. The uncured rock will take longer to cycle but is often a safer choice and eliminates unwanted hitchhikers and pests in your new tank.
