Ok, I am cycling my tank with shrimp the ammonia level is 8. Should I leave the shrimp in the tank or keep the shrimp in the the ammonia level is 0:yay:
IMO you should go ahead and remove the shrimp. You've accomplished what you wanted to do (start a cycle) now you just want the rest to go on naturally.
Give it time. Your still a week or two away from being ready. Do a 10-20% water change prior to adding anything to the tank when it is ready. Go slow, start with your clean up crew and work your way to fish and so forth.
