cyclying a tank

its been 14 years since i cycled a new tank, my question is can i use just de chlorinated tap water for the first tank fill then i'll use my ro/di from then on. its going to be fowlr, 125 with about 100 gallon remote sump, which is why i would rather start with tap, much easier to fill everything.

If it was me I would only use RODI, it sounds like patience is the only part missing in your plan. I just set up an 80g and it took a day and a half to fill it with RODI.
