Happy Sunday everyone, I have a some what crazy question! I purchased a jebao dcp 5000 from someone on here and unfortunately they didn't have the needed parts including the nut and hard plumb adapter for the intake and the hard plumb adapter for the output. I was just thinking, would a regular thread PVC adapter screw on so I could hard plumb it to my water station. Thanks for any help, don't laugh at me and no I haven't tried taking it to the store with me yet!!!

I'm pretty sure the threads on the pump are metric. If you're going to run internally you can probably match good enough with teflon tape, but externally I doubt you'll get a good enough seal. I'll check my fittings and see if I have an extra.

Thank you Steve, I appreciate it. Other wise I'll just have a pump sitting around for nothing!

For anyone else interested, after looking at my pump again I remembered it is metric, but I was able to use teflon tape with a fitting from Home Depot to get a seal which has lasted for over a year.

Thank you again Steve, it took a lot of tape but it worked like a charm! Thank you

Don't over tighten the fitting when using teflon tape. Over time it can crack either the internal or more likely the external part of the fitting.
