I’m debating on adding a Royal Gramma to my 60 Gallon Cube. However, I’m concerned it might throw off my current tank environment. Here’s my current livestock:

1 juvenile Yellow Tang (he’s going in a 150 or 180 soon for the Tang police)
1 Banggai Cardinal
1 Flameback Angel

Thoughts?

Do it. Gramma's are one of my favorites and I've had them in a lot of different tanks with various livestock. The only issue I've ever had with them is that they can jump out. They aren't as bad as wrasses but they carpet surf if scared. Honestly, they are such a great fish that I keep them even though they don't perform a specific function. All of the other fish (I like to call them coral support animals) in my tank serve a specific purpose but the Royal Gramma gets a pass because I like them so much.

Agreed. Grammas are wonderful, and I see no issues with adding one to your current setup. So if you think you’ll like it, go for it.
