Hey all, I just got a torch that has a deep long saw cut that barely cuts into the white. I couldn’t find much on how to deal with it so I dipped it in iodine, gave it a good rinse and sealed the cut with superglue. Is there anything else I can do to help it heal? It looks pretty healthy otherwise. Thanks!

No cut on the flesh. I put superglue in the cut to seal it after iodine bath. Works just fine. My main concern is infection. Definitely managing stress though.

Could it just be from fragging maybe? I know a lot of people use saws to cut the hard body so maybe someone wasn’t careful and cut the flesh as well. I’ve seen most people do the iodine dip and then just make sure water quality is top notch so it’s in a clean environment to heal and nothing can pick at it creature wise. The super glue trick is new to me so please keep us updated if you don’t mind, I’m very curious to see how/if it heals!!
