No nothing predatory, in fact thats the whole reason why I haven't moved them, can't catch the emerald crab out of the other tank. And I don't trust him lol. Dang it Terry you jinxed my clams!
Edit: the blue is there, the mantle is just folded over the shell, which is basically the whole problem.
heres all 3 clams (yeah I know, the maximas need some rubble) I had them mounted but the urchin that I have gotten rid of now knocked them off the scape

Edit: MAYBE he is just ticked off because the flow has been changed. I didn't have the nozzle on the return until earlier today, when I found it looking for something else. I rinsed it off and put it back on and pointed it actually in the general direction of the clam.
seeing as how the younger more sensitive maximas would be suffering from light or bad water as well, if the problem doesnt resolve itself, I may consider a freswater dip. There could be something inside the clam, like a worm. That's all I can come up with.
Edit:

Are there any shrimp in with it some like to pick ?
I hope it pulls through.
I don't know maybe its lighting or angle that makes it appear the blue is thinner
The edges of the mantle (the blue part) are curled over. That is why it looks thinner or not there in some places. This is the whole issue with the clam right now.
Edit: Sure is taking it a long time to open back up.
Edit: No shrimp at all. I removed the cleaner shrimp when I added the clam. I have some hermits and non-predatory snails.
