anybody ever use one of these they say that it polishes the water makes it crystal clear in just a few hours. do they work do they clog easily or are they a pain in the butt to use? opinions please thanks

Just googled them, and yes they do exist. Lol I am following to see what is said if anyone here has ever used one.

I have used one many years ago but on fresh water and yes they can clog easily. I believe they filter down to 1 micron and it would need constant maintence. I dont think I would ever use on on a reef tank, maybe fish only. What are you tryingot accomplish using one?

thanks dave just wondered about these they say they can filter out ich and parasites. saw a video on you tube, if this is true it beats using copper or quarantining

True but not sure it would be 100% effective, I think it would help but not be a total cure. Best of luck!

if your trying to polish water then i would just use purigen, that stuff makes it pretty clear pretty fast
