dissolving media at max PH

so im still dialing in my awesome CaRx and have another misc question....

generally speaking.. what is the maximum PH at which the media will still dissolve ? (If dissolve is the correct term)

The reason I'm asking is that the Rx has run my ALK A LITTLE bit higher than I would like so I'm slowly bumping the controller setpoint up ...

Currently I'm at a setpoint of 6.8PH with a Hy of .03

Depends on the media being used. If I remember, the small ARM media was 6.7 and the Large was 6.5ish? I do know it'll turn to mush and brick up on you if it melts too fast.

I run Argonite large media at 6.35 (calibrated) with no trouble.
