Has anyone made a set that will work with Apex? I saw the apex ones, but it's over $100 for the 3 lite kit with the module. Was wondering if the 10-volt output could power a set?

10 volts should be plenty of power i use the RGB led pods that i use at work on my tank with a 50 watt 12 volt transformer. I switch to strait blues at night and blend in red and green to get the right shade of white for the day time.
