Ever since adding the Apex to my tank the wire management became unacceptable to say the least... Wanted to build a DIY controller cabinet for as little as possible. I think I spent a little less than $100 dollars on this build. All I got for this was;
- A cheap cabinet from Amazon ($65 I think?)
- A wire management Kit (Less than $10)
- 2" Desk Grommets ($7 on amazon)
It's still a work in progress, but I am definitely happy with how it turned out. I have learned a lot building this, and I already want to upgrade it for a few reasons. But if you plan on doing this yourself I would definitely recommend going for a slightly larger cabinet. Makes it much easier to work with. If I decide to add anything else to the apex I won't have the room. I think this is definitely a good start though and will work no problem for the setup that I have.
Let me know what you guys think! I just kind of went for it without any game plan, but overall, I am happy with how it turned out!
