Anyone have a source that sells a heatsink/case for a DIY LED project that don't, well... look DIY? I want to build several LED lights for 24" wide tanks that look professional rather than a bare heatsink with wires sticking out all over the place. Also, these will not be hanging, they will be sitting on the top of the tanks.

Any ideas?

I'm starting a DIY build this evening, and I'm curious to see if you get some useful feedback...I'll follow.

as for a case.. not sure

If you have the dimension you want, using black acrylic is really nice. With a nice CAD or router u can even inscribe it

I've worked with acrylic (made a sump). It's really not that hard to work with. I'm planning to make a control box out of it soon. Maybe this weekend.
