Does anyone here make their own i been watching youtube videos and seems easy and interesting.... all feedback is appreciated before i waste the money buying the supplys
 
I've tried it. Much less hassle to order 100 and call it a day.

+1 after your done fragging your corals, placement in your display isn't easy with a plug, rubble is always in hand and looks so much more natural and you don't have to soak for weeks to make sure your homemade plug won't mess with your PH.
I love that rubble.
 
I like rubble, but doesn't always work so well on a frag rack.

What about gluing a short rod to a piece of rubble.... best of both worlds! If my rock doesn't have hole drilled in the right spot, I'll snap the post off the frag plug and glue it down. After looking a a few of these (and conveniently being out of plugs) I thought "What happens if I glue one of these to a piece of rubble".
I know ... I'm a genius!

I gotta admit I like them better.
 
I can't stand frag plugs with the post except for use on a rack. So usually just dremmel the post off when it's encrusted and ready to go on a rock.
