do I need a splash guard??

I have an 8 bulb t5 set up but I am temporarily using a hob filter and skimmer so I do have a little water spray do I need a splash guard or will the bulbs be ok

well like when my water level gets a little low then the stream from my hob filter makes a splash on the surface of my tankand from that splash a few tiny water drops may hit the light nothing constant at all

ok thanks for the quick response also when I start moving fish from my 30 gallon to my 80 gallon do I need to do it slowly so I don't overload a newly established tank?
