Does the cycle ever end?

I've been in the hobby for 2 years now have gone through great pain and great joys in the process.gone from a 55 to a 75 to a 75 and a 29 bio cube to now I have a 180 with my own fish room. well the last few months I have been in fish mode and minus 1 or 2 more fish I have my dream fish list.now I look at my tank and see way to much bare rock.....so I want to go coral shopping...lol where does it end? What's next???? Well besides the new LEDs I NEED.... Haha

It comes and goes for me. I've had a few different tanks and some months all I can think about are corals, fish and parameters. Other months I do my water changes but not much else. Usually it is money related but I've learned the hard way to never get too far away from my routine or I have to spend way too much time getting things looking right. Right now I'm in an "active" stage and have posted more in the last week than I did last year!

I think ill go to coral mode till atleast the swap then go into cool equipment mode.

I've been forced into coral-only mode by a Clarkii clown nicknamed Gigantor. She's 5-1/2" long and I'm convinced that she "hosts" the entire tank. She was introduced to the tank 4 years ago and won't let anyone get near it. In fact, my nephews like coming over and watching me feed her because she'll bite my fingers, arm and pretty much anything else in the water. I love her so she gets the entire 65g to herself and I'm only allowed to add corals...no fish.

Got my first reef tank in 1994 30 gallon, now I have a 150 g that is now part of our house over 100 feet of PVC through out the house.
There were times when I thought about coming out of the hobby but could not leave it
So it looks like you are in for a long time.

That's the only reason I still do this. It's a constant source of "something new". Be it mechanical, electrical, biological. There is ALWAYS something that can be done. Like the 2 new MP-40's that FedEx says they just dropped off. haha
