Dosing fuel

Noticed my skimmers pulling it out a hour after i dose it i have it dialed low as i can go too. Anyone else have this happen? Should i turm my skimmer off while i dose? anyone else have this problem?

I don't notice any difference with my skimmer with fuel. The foam head completely dies for a couple hours when I feed oyster feast though... And that's on 3 different skimmers.

I don't notice a change with my skimmer either when I dose fuel...

I dose it in 2 tanks and have not noticed any difference in skimmer activity. I usually feed right after dosing and that kind of shuts off foam production in the skimmers as otheres have noted.

I just started dosing fuel, i just dose before bed and leave my return pump off and powerheads on overnight. stuff cost too much to just get sucked out so i dont take the chance.

Yea i also dose halfway into my photo period. Gonna shut skimmer off for few hours next time and see
