Hey all,

I have jumped in feet first in the salt life and so far I am loving it. I would like to know how to be a paid member so I can attend some meetings to learn more and more and more lol. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I have a 65g cube I am trying to turn into a community reef tank.

And a 6g nano that I am still trying to find the right personality.

I found the way and am now a proud paid member. I cannot be there tomorrow but will do my best to be at the next meeting. Thanks for the help!

First off; welcome to ARC. You won't regret paying for membership. Bring your receipt with you to any of the local sponsors. You will save money very quickly with local purchases at the sponsors. Second of all; you will definitely enjoy the ARC meetings where you can put faces to names. Be careful of a man whom will have mustard on his shirt :lol2: . His call sign is rdnelson99. He may try and get you addicted to mustard dosing. Just kidding; Rich a.k.a. rdnelson99 is a great gentleman. Rich will bring laughter to your face; I guarantee it. And no, this is not a "Men's Warehouse" commercial.

Again, welcome to ARC :yay: :up:!

Welcome to the club. Whatever you do, don't listen to the things Wannabe says about me. Or anyone else for that matter. They are all just jealous of my good looks and superior intelligence. :-)

^^^^^ seriously, he cracks me up daily :lol2:

Welcome to ARC and the outrageously expensive addiction of making saltwater!

I love your ambition, starting the hobby with two tanks!!

Just some insight. If you make it to an ARC meeting, just look for the bowfront man. There's usually two bowfronts at the meeting, one of them would be rdnelson99; the other bowfront would be me, Wannabee. If we are standing together when you arrive, just say "Icehouse" and the first one to crack a smile; well that would be Rich a.k.a. Rdnelson99. Get ready to laugh, because once Icehouse or mustard dosing is stated; then the games begin. A word of caution; bring a towel because you'll be laughing so hard. The towel is needed to wipe up the tears of joy. When you've had enough crying, you can throw the towel to the ground. We'll know then that you've had enough crying with joy.

You know how it goes! I got the 6g first and realized that I wanted a reef and found an amazing deal on CL for the 65g that I couldn't pass up. I also have a 55g freshwater planted discus tank. #HookedOnFish lol

Had to merge the 6g w the 65g. I'm on the road too much to stay on top of it. Neighbor kid took it so yard gets trimmed a few times for free! Now I only hope his parents talk to me again lol

Welcome! Hope you enjoy this crazy club!

How long have you had the 65g setup for?

Just wait until Rich started charges fees to get access to his replies! No need to worry, his fees will be lower than a doctor's office visit. Get ready to laugh and have some fun.

Send me the bill haha. So overwhelming all of this information! I want to get the tank right but there is so so much going on here. Time will fix all and it should get easier

This place; ARC is like my second cup of coffee of the day and right now it's almost bed time. Note, the second cup of coffee is just addictive as the first cup. Glad you found us addictive Reef Keepers.

Just wait - I started with a 14 gallon nano (biocube), then a 72 gallon bowfront, and now a 120 tall. When the bug bites it bite s hard! Welcome to ARC!
