does anyone here use dowflake to supplement calcium as an additive in water changes? where can it be purchased locally? and reccomendations for dosing ratios??? (exp...X grams/per liter of H2O????) does it have to be prepared or just mixed strait in? Thanks in advance.


Also.....can driveway salt be used for magnesium supplementation????

You cannot use it anymore. It has added chemicals that are not healthy for the tank. Use Epsom salt for the magnesium supplement, I do.
