Have a 125 with dual overflows (dual drains). It has the nice stack pipes with the air brake. They are gurgling when it hits the sump. If I separate my drain line(have them both going into one line) do you think this will take care of the problem?

It might.

Does the drain empty above or below the water line in the sump? It should be above the water line. If it's below, there can be back-pressure that prevents it from draining until the weight/pressure of the water is such that it forces it down, which then causes a gurgling sound.

Below, I have tried it both ways and it is a little better above the water line.

If 2 drains converge into one, it may be slowing the flow enough to cause the same sort of back-pressure issue also. Once it's heavy enough up above, gravity forces the water down, also causing the gurgling.

IMO it should be above. If it's noisy, sock it.

Last thing you want is to end up with an air lock in the drain, that causes it to stop completely, while your return pump continues returning water into a full tank. That never ends well.

This is really useful information. What about having a hole in the pipe above the water to equalize the pressure and the pipe going below?

I tried that, it still tends to gurgle. Jenn has it on the head, the best is just above the water line.
