Drilled solana bonsai reef build!!!

I have been working on this tank for months now and have just been itching to start my build thread. The tank is drilled and the rock work is complete so lets begin!

Sounds like a cool tank idea! I noticed that it is a bonsai rock formation (which look great)... how did you put the rock together? Did you take live rock and epoxy it together, or did you do something like macro-rocks?

I am looking forward to seeing some pics of the build!

The rock is actually attached to a piece of acrylic which is siliconed to the bottom of the tank and then the rest of the live rock was drilled with a sds and attached to the bottom rock with plastic rods and aqua mend.

Everything has finally settled down in the tank, now I just need to figure out something to do with my lighting.

Can you take some pics of the back where you drilled the tank? I have a solana and didnt know they could be drilled.

Awesome looking tank, would love to see more. I am a fan of the Solana tanks.
