I bought a 37 GAL Acrylic frag tank and I need to drill out the drain hole from 1" to 2" and install the new bulkhead. The issue is since the hole is already there and there is no way to have a center guide for the core bit, how do you drill it bigger? Almost messed up one of the return holes trying to enlarge it last night but quit in time. Any suggestions from those that have worked with acrylic before? Thanks in advance!

Hmm... I suppose you could find someone with a drill press (if you don't already have one) and softly clamp the tank in place.

My suggestion would be to drill a piece of wood with the bit, then clamp that piece where you need it, and use it as a guide for the real hole.

Thanks....the wooden guide will do the trick! Excellent help from ARC as always!
