Drilling tank, where to put bulkheads

I’ve got a 40 breeder that I will be drilling for a Fiji cube overflow box and a return line. Is it better to have the overflow and return next to each other in the center of the back wall or to have them at the far left and far right from each other on the back wall?

I would think have the drain on one end and the return on the other would have better turn over..
