What are your parameters?

Lighting type, age and how many hours of light do you run each day?

Jenn

i will check my params again i am switching from t5's to halides just prefer the look better but my 8 bulb fixt does need new bulbs. i just have done a 30% wc and i use ro/di

Also, how much you feed, how often, what you feed, and what you keep...

Trying to see the big picture to see if there's too much of something, too little of something etc., that would promote the growth of excessive algae.

Some algae is to be expected... but if it's excessive there's probably something amiss.

The more info, the better.

i usually only feed blood worms and spirulina flakes, i have 1 damsel, lawnmomer and bi color, emerald crab, and about 20 blue legs and scarlets, plus 2 starfish in a 90 gal and i feed every other day with only about 8 hrs of light
