Im looking at running a dual reactor for the new tank carbon and gfo.... but there is a bunch of dual reactors on the market. Looking to get input on what everyone is using before i go out and buy one. If someone has one laying around lmk :)

I agree - I do not recommend a dual reactor. I tried the BRS one as well and couldn't get the flow right either. I ended up separating the two and just using one now though as my needs have changed.

I'm mixing my GFO & Carbon, I don't tumble, in a single reactor and change it out ever 3 weeks. I understand that tumbling is more effective but this works for me and its only 1/3 cup of GFO & 2/3 cup of Carbon every 3 weeks and my phosphates stay in check between .01-.03.

When we want to run carbon or other chemical filtration, we just drop a Lifegard unit into the sump loaded with whatever chemical filtration we are using- like carbon etc- and then remove it when complete. You can pack both carbon and gfo in these units to run as dual.
