Does anybody have any. Looking for info on them. Do you have to target feed or not. How hardy are they

In my experience, they are easy to keep and if you feed them they'll grow pretty quickly. The one I had was purchased with 10 heads and grew to 35+ in less than 8 months. Target feeding a few (2-3) times a week keeps them really happy. Ususally fed them Mysis shrimp or pellets.

Mine was tiny. Grew pretty quick in a few months time with no feeding what-so-ever. Just recently started feeding it and it has exploaded. I love it. Oh, and it was free from a great member. Makes it even better.

I have ~20+ heads, no feeding and they are HAPPY corals!

(FWIW- grown under 180 watt LED's)

I have 2 colonies one had over 50 heads and the other over 20 and I have fragged them both repeatedly over the past couple of years. I don't spot feed them but they are placed in an area that gets great flow and whatever I feed my tank they get some of it. they are very fast growers and easy to care for.

Edit: I currently have 2 heads on a frag plug waiting on a home

Speaking of that great member...... . You did me right and I am thrilled to say all four frags are doing fantastic.

So glad to hear they are doing well for you Roy, did you get a frag of green bottle brush when you were here? if not I will get you a piece as I have several branches that have broken off and sitting on one of the frag shelves.

1.what are you feeding them and how often(to the ones that are feeding theirs)?
2.what type of lighting is everyone using at the time for these?As of now i am using 4-65 watt cf and 4 t-8 bulbs(awaiting 250 watt mh lighting from a member soon to be installed)
3.Do i need to add any extra type of supplements for them to do well(now i am feeding phytoplanton 2 times a week and reef fuel 2 times a week)

1. I just give it a squirt of the same frozen food I feed the fish. It loves it.
2. I run 6 - 54W T5HO lamps. It is located about 3/4" of the way up my tank which puts it about 12" below the lamps.
3. I don't add anything extra and it did great even before I started feeding it.

They used to be the rage a couple of years back, but now they are pretty common.

Look around. I paid less than $10 per head.

Deep Blue was selling them for 7.50 a head. They had both Purple and Green. Atlanta Aquarium has some really awesome Green frags as well, not sure on the price there though..

No feeding necessary, but they accept it if you want to do it.

You can have a free frag when you pick up the lights, fair?

Of course... I'll have time to cut it. Those things have a tough skeleton... bone cutters are no match for them!
