Hey folks, who has had one of these? Any thoughts/experiences? I'm getting one next week (about 5-6") for my 200g reef. I just don't see them around much, but I hear great things, and the pictures of mature adults are stunning!

Anybody have one?

I've seen them before and they are gorgeous. They're known as palani tangs right? I think they get pretty big though which is why we don't see a lot of em since not all of us have 200 gallon tanks to throw em in . Post pics when u get him!

Yes! I had one before and they are awesome! Mine was only 3-4" though. He was in a 75gal reef. Had him for about 6 months. Then one day he stopped eating and died a few days later. Havnt seen another in a LFS since. I got mine last year at Marine Fish. A 6" in a 200gal. you shouldnt have a problem. I would love to get a 6-7" to put in my 400gal. Post some pics of him. I would love to see it.
