or wat about these sorry guys please dont tell me to go expensive i cant right now i am just trying to create a little better flow that 3 garden pond pumps that keep falling..... i have it rigged right now badly...

alright but it might be a year or so lol i have just enough to squeez by right now i am out of work on a injury....

I would be apprehensive about any high output PH using suction cups. If they happen to come loose from glass you will have a mess. Post a WTB for a koralia, see what you get.

I just bought one korila 4 off ebay i can buy another in a few weeks...till then i will use power heads from the 55.

just a suggestion, why dont trade for a smaller tankyou might be able to even do a even trade for better equipment just smaller i went from a 46 bow to a 110 and the cost difference in equipment you need and chemical and salt use is much more expencive.

Well once i get back to work i will have money i am out for another month and half tho and workmans comp is only 92 dollars a week but i dont have any bills at all on the plus side. I have money to keep the 125 as soon as i get the equipment i have everything i need right now except the power heads, i just dont have the money to keep up the 55 gal and the 125 as soon as i can get the power heads i am done i have money for my salt and maintnince for the 125. And there is no way i will sell that 125. I started out with a 29 gal and since then have always wanted a bigger tank and now i have it no way i am selling it lol.

I think you'll just be digging yourself a deeper hole if you go with $2.99 powerheads on eBay. And did you notice the shipping charge is $35? That should tell you something in itself about the seller and the quality of these pumps, or lack thereof (drop shipping from China). The LFS's in the area can hook you up with Koralia's all day long for that price. Imagine Ocean is up north, Keen Reef is over in the east. No need to buy crap on eBay when the good stuff can be had local for the same price (and no waiting!).

As others have said, reefkeeping just isn't the hobby to have (especially not the hobby to build) when "spending money" is non-existent. Its like all expensive hobbies -- golf, RC helicopters, SCUBA diving, etc etc etc -- you have to know when it's not in your price range, but short and long term, and wait/save until it is.

It is in my price range peeps good grief just not in a good price range while i am swapping tanks! I am trying to shut down my older 55 gal and keep the 125 running at same time! AH!!!! And i have the money to buy the other power head right now i just feel like waiting i have a month before my light gets in!

yea some corners i have cut before and find out hard way that it was bad idea thats why i ask here first the reason i say dont tell me about the expensive items is because i already know them but look for cheaper brands which i see now is a waste off time because i always end up getting the high priced items anyways without trying the cheaper one.... i think i will just stop lookin at cheap brands anyways lol thanks for your help i have one koralia 4 ordered and next week will order my next one. In the long run i want 4 of them even if two or just for backup

I had the K4s for cheaper than you just paid, last weekend.

I might be able to help you out when you're ready to buy another one. Just let me know if/when you're ready.
