Ecotech Mobius Issues

So evidently, if you are upgrading an ecotech product with the black mobius chip and using a 3rd party power supply, the unit might not show up on mobius legacy. Found this out recently. “Easy” go around is use the proper power supply, update and link it, than use the 3rs parties. Kinda stupid
