Ecotech Radion graphs

Xr30w radions , does anyone on this site have a custom Radion Light setting program/graph for a mixed reef system (SPS/ LPS/ Soft Corals/ Clams etc.), that will work with my 2 Radions over my 22" deep reef tank ? I have been playing with the settings for a month and have not been able to come up with a setting that makes all my inhabitants happy.i have acclimated them slowly using the natural mode at 50% to 60% intensity

I don't think there is any magic setting for any light system, IMO your best bet is test with par meter and use those numbers for coral placement thats what I do

Tagging along... I have 3 over my 180. I have it on the artificial mode now...

Dub , did you create a new artificial graph or did you use the standard one that comes with the software?? also how deep is your tank? and what corals do you have and how are they looking under the LED's. BTW NICE Wrasse avatar! is it a Christmas Wrasse?

i have one over my 20 long and use artificial mode with a 15 hour photo period i do a 3 hour ramp up to 50 percent then have it shift to more blue in the evening and then a 3 hour ramp down to 0 but as guerry stated its more about putting corals in a spot in the tank that meets their light needs i dont think it would be possible to have it on a setting that would satisfy every coral anywhere in the tank.

I used the one that was already loaded on the software. I have mostly SPS with a few LPS, and two clams. 24 inches deep... they seem to be doing good.

What do you have yours on? What are your tank specifics?

I'M running 2 x xr30w radions over my 5ft x 30" x 22" . I think 3 radions were recommended. I used a Ecotech program from 3reef site. the members there are sharing programs. So im using one now , a modified version of artificial mode. Start day is 6 AM and shuts down at 9pm. so far its looking good. I tried another of their members program and the colors were great , but it set moonlights at early AM . At 2am the other morn, i got up to get a drink of water and the lights were a RED spectrum. Scared the he## out of my fish , they were swimming erratically around the tank . So I cut off the lights and now using the new program with no problems now. I think some of these colors that are unnatural will stress the fish .
