Anyone ever tried it with an anemone?

The one shedding the tentacles looked real crappy today and had what I identified as 'rot' on one side.
So I cut her up, cutting the discolored gooey piece out...

Anyone done that before?

Yup, usually saves the untainted prices. You need to dip them aswell.

Interesting thread... I have never tried to frag/ cut my anemonies, but I always do an Iodine dip on my anemonies before introducing them into my system. I usually do a 5 minute dip to try to kill off any parasites.

yup, new razor blade. Hack them up, give them an Iodine dip and drop them in a basket where they wont get bothered.

I think I didn't explain properly.
I did frag 'nems before - but never to save them from dying, I basically cut off the deteriorated part and not only cut it in half...
