So yesterday I got a CPR BakPak skimmer as a supplemental skimmer to run at night (Lights go off, skimmer goes on). Apparently at some point last night the cup overflowed, ran down the cord to the powerstrip. I had to go to work so I couldn't mess with it too much. It turns out the power surge fried my Mag 5 return pump. I set my powerheads to run and had to leave. Now I have no wet dry or skimmer running because I have no flow to the sump.
Does anyone have an extra Mag 5 that I could buy being in a pinch? Maybe some similar flow equivalent submersible return pump? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
BTW, all fish, livestock, etc. are fine. Just destroyed the pump and powerstrip.
