Would a sailfin tang be OK in a 10 gallon??? he's not too big (about 5-6''), so I don't think he would be too tight in there??? thanks!

Sailfins don't "school", they shoal...

You need at least three in there or else they'll fight!

That's a lot of bioload; make sure you run a quality skilter.

Well....if they do start to fight, you should get a shark for the tank. I've heard they are great for adding a calming effect to the tank. Once the shark is acclimated and fed well.....the fighting should cease.:thumbs:

Well it is a 10 gal. If they fight just put in a divider. That leaves 5 gal apiece.

a divider! Now that's the catch! I could put my mated pair on one side, and a powder blue tang on the other side...I might even have room for a naso over there as well, huh??? Thanks for all the great advice, guys!

i think you'd have room for a skate on the bottom he wouldn't take any room from the fish in the column
