I am very pleased with my current livestock in which includes a yellow tang, black female box fish, (2) seahorses, maxima clam, sand sifting sea star, tiger conch and (10) nassarius snails...... as far as coral go I have a Kenya tree, pulsing Xenia and a Gorgonian. Now on to my question, what are some of you guy’s and gals favorite corals? I have my eye on chili cactus, and yellow Fiji leather as my next purchases

Go for the yellow fiji leather. They've got a much better track record in captivity. The chili cactus gets nutrients strictly from what it can find in the water column whereas the leather is photosynthetic. Plus, leather's are pretty easy to frag and I really enjoy being able to grow corals, frag them and give/sell them to other members.

I was thinking of grabbing both as they both are gorgeous in my eyes. Do you think the cactus can prove to be a overwhelming challenge for a new comer like myself (5 months into the hobby)?

The cactus is an overwhelming challenge for even seasoned tank owners. :) I would go with the leather. :)
