Hello all,
My name is Ian, and I finally got around to joining up after dancing around it for the last few months. I am running (possibly straight into the ground) a 90 gallon mixed reef that I bought used from a pretty nice guy, which I believe used to be an ARC member from south Atlanta, back in August and it's been a pretty fun ride so far.
I'm still trying to figure things out, but so far I have successfully fought off a full-tank infestation of bryopsis, a shorted out return pump that dumped heavy metals into the tank, and am now doing battle with a nasty round of parasites... Why do I think this is fun again? In short, I wouldn't suggest trading frags with me.
Joking aside, I love the hobby and, even with the crash-course, trial-by-fire path I have been on, I am looking forward to experiencing more of what the hobby has to offer. My bank account, in the other hand, tells me I have made a terrible mistake... I usually just tell it to shut up.
