Folks need to really be on the lookout. Seems like I'm seeing these fast growers everywhere I turn. They're all over ebay and I'm sure in reefers tanks everywhere by now.

I emailed these guys asking for close up pictures because I didn't see any alternating skirt. Surprise surprise, I got no response.

It's not a bad looking Zoa but it's unfortunate to see people blatantly selling counterfeits. I just hope those who unknowingly got them don't pass their bad misfortune on.

I see this happening all the time unfortunately! Have to do your due diligence prior to buying unfortunately.

I just looked on their website and didn't see this listing there. Makes me wonder if they are trying to snag an unsuspecting buyer.
 
i once knowingly bought some of these. i mean, it was pretty obvious with the price i got it at.

but good to know.
 
I would be more upset if I paid real Purple Hornet pricing. They are asking $10 pp which is about what a no name polyp wiht those colors would go for in a retail setting. Deceiving calling it a Purple Hornet but what can you expect for $10.....

This is exactly why I stay away from ebay
 
So what are real PH going for nowadays? Not gonna sell mine, but just curious.
 
I sold mine for $25 pp about 6 months ago. Not sure what they are going for nowadays...

And some good Hornets they were! I went from the five heads I got from you to 25 in three months.

I hear that, all my coral is worth more to me than what people would pay. I'm currently selling somethings to finance a new tank and in the back ground I'm trying everything I can do to make it work before I sell all of it.
