is there such a thing for the ARC.i have a 12 year old daughter that wants to be marine biologist.does she need to be a paid member to go to meetings or not.she and i both need the info to become good and informed in this "hobby"

Anyone can go to meetings, and anyone can participate on this forum. By paying, you are contributing to the running costs of the club (booking meetings, paying speakers, paying for a room for the speaker, paying for their flight, buying corals that are used in the frag swaps, etc) and in reward, you are given a %10 discount at sponsor stores. By paying you will also gain access to members only forums.

There sure is a family membership package, pm stacy22 for details. I am embarrassed to say I don't know right off hand what the exact price and details are but I can look for you. Also like Hud said, membership is not required to attend any regular meetings.
