Feather Dusters

I have feather dusters in my tank is that good or bad and what do I feed them.

very good to have them feed them nothing they are filter feeders

did they come from the live rock? are you sure they are feather dusters and not apitasia? or did you buy them?

yeah-they just "suck" food out of the water column--(whatever comes by them--it is good to have pretty decent flow-but now "blowing them down", though) I've had 2 for quite a while, and as long as you've got fish and are feeding your fish, you're fine--you can get DT's and phyto, and stuff like that, but is not necessary (just for FD's)

I have had 1 or 2 pop up here or ther then after my puffer died I saw many Pop up. There are 16+ small one's in it. I have seen feather dusters at stores before, and today I looked up pictures I would say I am 80% positive thay are feather dusters.

oh--yeah--prob. hitchhikers on LR?? they are beneficial--but like jade said--be sure they're not aiptasia--aiptasia are a P.I.T.A. to get rid of--are they a clear color?? Aiptasia are usually red-
