I am feeding my acans about 4-6 days a week, depending on if i feel like getting my hands wet that day. Would you say that i am feeding too much?

As long as they are eating and looking healthy its never to much with lps it takes a lot of energy for them to expand.

one thing i heard with feeding acans, if you do overfeed they will try to expand tissue faster than they can produce new skeleton.

I would say that has started to happen, it is growing on the sides rather than growing outward, kinda forming a half sphere.

Is it necessary to spot feed them or can they get enough food from feeding the tank? Mine seem to be doing well but sometimes they look pretty bad.

They are photosynthetic and will grow with just light but they will have smaller heads and slower growth. You don't have to feed every head just a few they share the same stomach if they are stretching then you have fed to much. As far as growth they don't allways stay in a circle they will grow towards there preferred area.

Personally, i'd say i have gotten great growth. I got the frag at the swap in feb. I started feeding a month ago, and so far it has doubled its size since feb. Also, the colors have gotten much brighter.

How do you feed them? I have been trying mysis but they don't seem to take it. How do you get them to take it?

i suck mysis up through a 1ml syringe (while im rinsing the cube for the rest of the tank) and squirt it at them when the blues are on (or if im behind even when its just the moonlights). i do rinse with tank water though not rodi so im sucking tank water up with them not fresh.
